Portland Thorns FC have completed a trade for forward Julie Dufour, acquiring her from Angel City Football Club on Saturday in exchange for $40,000 in intra-league transfer funds.

Dufour has four starts this season, but she has yet to score. The France national is competing in her first season in the NWSL.

The 24-year-old previously played for Paris FC for two seasons, scoring 13 goals in 31 matches. Prior to that, she spent time playing in Division 1 in France, spending three years each with Bordeaux and Lille. She has also played for the French national team.

Portland (7-4-5) currently sits in fifth place with 26 points in the league table. The Los Angeles-based Angel City is in 10th place (5-7-5, 20 points).
