The Kansas City Current acquired up-and-coming forward Ally Sentnor from the Utah Royals for $600,000, according to multiple reports on Friday.

The price would rank as the highest intra-league transfer in NWSL history.

Sentnor, 21, is one of the top young American talents and was the No. 1 overall pick by the Royals in the 2024 draft. She already has four goals in 12 matches for the United States Women’s National Team.

Sentnor has one goal and one assist in 13 matches this season for the Royals.

Sentnor was named U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year for 2024.

Utah is last in the NWSL with just five points (1-10-2). Kansas City (11-2-0-33) is in first place in the 14-team league.
