Racing Louisville placed goalkeeper Olivia Sekany on the 45-day injury list on Friday for a left knee injury.

Sekany was scheduled for a procedure Friday to repair damage from chronic patellar tendinosis, the team said.

Racing also signed rookie goalkeeper Madison White to a two-year contract. She will be available for Saturday’s game against NJ/NY Gotham.

“We are wishing Liv a speedy recovery and will be supporting her through the process,” coach Bev Yanez said. “In this industry, you never know when opportunities present themselves, and I know Madi will prepare herself to the best of her ability. This will be a good experience for her that will help her continue to grow.”

Sekany, 25, is in her second season with Racing. White, 22, was a fourth-round pick in January after earning Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Year and All-American honors at Texas Tech in 2023.
