OL Reign extended the contract of head coach Laura Harvey through the 2025 season.

She is the three-time National Women’s Soccer League Coach of the Year.

“Laura is the most successful coach in league history and has accomplished so much for our club over the last decade,” Vincent Berthillot, the Reign’s CEO, said in a news release. “Beyond her on-field achievements, she has built strong and trustworthy relationships with our players, giving them the ability to play with confidence while being themselves. We’re thrilled for Laura to accept this opportunity and continue to bring success here at OL Reign.”

Harvey, 44, was the Reign’s first coach, leading the team from 2013-17, during which time the club appeared in back-to-back NWSL championship matches. Following the 2017 season, Harvey stepped down and became the first head coach of the Utah Royals FC, then accepted the job leading the U.S. Soccer under-20 women’s team.

She returned to OL Reign following the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 and, last season, the club won its third NWSL Shield. Harvey was the first female coach to win the Shield and the first to win it in back-to-back seasons.
