The Orlando Pride held the potent Kansas City offense in check, with the host Current stuck with its first draw of the season in the scoreless match on Saturday night.

Goalkeepers Lorena of Kansas City (13-2-1, 40 points) and Anna Moorhouse of Orlando (8-4-4, 28 points) each recorded one save.

The Pride have three consecutive ties.

Kansas City had 16 of the match’s 21 shot attempts but placed only one of those on goal. Orlando took eight corner kicks.

Courage 1, Thorns 1

Tyler Lussi scored her first goal of the season by notching the tying marker in the 70th minute as North Carolina Courage forged a draw with the Portland Thorns at Cary, N.C.

Olivia Moultrie scored in the final minute of the first half for Portland.

Casey Murphy made five saves for North Carolina (5-6-5, 20 points). The Thorns (7-4-5, 26 points) received six saves from Mackenzie Arnold.

San Diego Wave FC 2, Bay FC 1

Kimmi Ascanio and Kenza Dali scored early in the second half and the San Diego Wave FC won a road match at San Jose, Calif.

Kailen Sheridan made three saves for San Diego (8-3-5, 29 points), which ended a string of three consecutive draws. Perle Morroni assisted on the 17-year-old Ascanio’s fourth goal of the season.

Caroline Conti’s penalty kick in the 75th minute got Bay on the board. Jordan Silkowitz stopped five shots for Bay (4-7-5, 17 points), which had its winless streak reach five matches (0-3-2).
