Ryan Johansen, Roman Josi and Dante Fabbro each had a goal and two assists and the visiting Nashville Predators snapped the Detroit Red Wings’ five-game winning streak with a 5-2 victory on Tuesday.

Eeli Tolvanen and Nick Cousins also scored for Nashville, while David Rittich made 14 saves.

Robby Fabbri and Michael Rasmussen scored for Detroit and Alex Nedeljkovic stopped 28 shots.

The Predators outshot the Red Wings 11-3 in the opening period and grabbed a 2-0 lead.

Nashville capitalized on its first power-play opportunity. With Vladislav Namestnikov in the penalty box for delay of game, Johansen one-timed a pass from Matt Duchene and beat Nedeljkovic with 12:32 remaining. Josi was credited with the second assist.

Josi weaved past the Detroit defense a little over five minutes later and scored his eighth goal of the season. He beat Nedeljkovic on the stick side. Fabbro and Johansen made the assists.

The Red Wings were outshot 14-5 in the second period but scored the only goal.

With Alexandre Carrier in the penalty box for roughing, Detroit broke through with a power-play goal midway through the period. Moritz Seider took a shot from the point that caromed off the back boards. Pius Suter got a stick on it before Fabbri banged it in for his sixth goal this season.

Nedeljkovic made a pad save against Philip Tomasino on a breakaway in the closing seconds of the period to keep Detroit within a goal.

Cousins gave the Predators some breathing room with his third goal at 2:33 of the third period. The Red Wings turned the puck over in their own zone. Cousins shoveled a backhander over Nedeljkovic’s left pad off a Josi feed.

Tolvanen made it 4-1 when he deflected a Fabbro shot past Nedeljokovic. Johansen collected the second assist.

Rasmussen scored midway through the period to cut the Predators’ advantage to two goals. Adam Erne and Namestnikov had the assists.

Fabbro scored an empty-netter with 31 seconds remaining.
