The New Jersey Devils tied the longest winning streak in franchise history Monday night, when five players scored a goal apiece in a 5-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers in Newark, N.J.

Jesper Bratt, Dawson Mercer, Damon Severson, Tomas Tatar and Yegor Sharangovich scored for the Devils, whose 13-game winning streak matches the mark set by the 2000-01 team that later reached the Stanley Cup Finals. Vitek Vanecek stopped 28 shots for the victory.

Leon Draisaitl and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored for the Oilers, who have alternated losses with wins in their last seven games. Stuart Skinner recorded 23 saves.

Nugent-Hopkins nearly tied the score 3-3 early in the third period, when his shot sailed just over the top of the net. The Devils doubled their lead on the next trip up the ice following an impressive play by Tatar, whose first shot was deflected by Skinner. Tatar caught the carom, put the puck down and beat Skinner at 7:07.

Bruins 5, Lighting 3

Patrice Bergeron recorded his 1,000th NHL point as Boston equaled its longest winning streak of the season at seven games, defeating host Tampa Bay.

Bergeron, 37, dished out the secondary assist on Brad Marchand’s second-period tally for his milestone. He became the fourth Bruin to do so — joining Ray Bourque (1,506), John Bucyk (1,339) and Phil Esposito (1,012). He is the eighth active NHL player to reach that milestone.

David Krejci had a goal and an assist, Nick Foligno, Charlie Coyle and David Pastrnak scored and Linus Ullmark had 32 saves for the Bruins. The Lightning’s Nicholas Paul scored twice and Rudolfs Balcers tallied while Pat Maroon had two assists and Andrei Vasilevskiy made 24 saves.

Tanner Laczynski scored his first career goal for the Flyers, who also got a goal from Joel Farabee while extending their winless streak to seven games (0-5-2). Carter Hart stopped 25 shots.

Islanders 3, Maple Leafs 2 (OT)

Anthony Beauvillier scored at 1:56 of overtime and visiting New York defeated Toronto. Josh Bailey tied the game for the Islanders late in the third period, and Beauvillier won it with a rising wrist shot on a pass from Brock Nelson.

Noah Dobson had a goal and an assist for the Islanders, who completed their four-game road trip with two wins. Ilya Sorokin stopped 30 shots.

John Tavares and Auston Matthews scored and Erik Kallgren made 21 saves for the Maple Leafs, who finished a three-game homestand at 1-0-2.

Jets 4, Hurricanes 3 (OT)

Josh Morrissey scored his second goal of the game 2:10 into overtime and host Winnipeg responded from an embarrassing collapse to defeat Carolina.

The Hurricanes rallied with three goals in the last five minutes of regulation to extend the game. Michael Eyssimont scored his first NHL goal and Pierre-Luc Dubois had a goal and two assists for the Jets, who scored once in every period. Blake Wheeler also had two assists.

Jaccob Slavin put the Hurricanes on the board with his first goal of the season with 4:48 to play. Andrei Svechnikov, who assisted on the first goal, delivered Carolina’s second goal with 3:08 left. Martin Necas tied it with 39 seconds left. Sebastian Aho picked up assists on all three goals.

Predators 4, Coyotes 3 (SO)

Roman Josi and Matt Duchene scored 28 seconds apart to give Nashville the lead early in the third period, but the Predators needed a shootout to claim a victory over visiting Arizona.

In the shootout, Cody Glass scored the final goal in the seventh round for the Predators, who also got a regulation goal from Matt Duchene. Juuse Saros stopped 24 shots for the win.

Nick Bjugstad had two goals and an assist, Lawson Crouse also scored and Connor Ingram finished with 42 saves for the Coyotes.

Blues 3, Ducks 1

Justin Faulk scored the decisive power-play goal as host St. Louis defeated Anaheim for its seventh consecutive victory.

Noel Acciari scored twice for the Blues, including an empty-netter, and Jordan Binnington made 27 saves.

Cam Fowler scored, and John Gibson made 24 saves for the Ducks, who lost for the sixth time in seven games.

Avalanche 3, Stars 2 (SO)

Mikko Rantanen scored the only goal in a shootout as Colorado beat host Dallas to sweep a three-game road trip and win for the seventh time in eight games.

Cale Makar and Alex Newhook scored in regulation and Rantanen had an assist for the Avalanche. Alexandar Georgiev made 22 saves through regulation and overtime and two more in the shootout.

Jason Robertson scored twice for the Stars and Jake Oettinger turned away 33 shots through regulation and OT, then one more in the shootout.

Sharks 5, Senators 1

Timo Meier, Matt Nieto and Tomas Hertl scored in the second period to help San Jose pull away for a win against visiting Ottawa.

Logan Couture had a goal and an assist, Noah Gregor also scored and Kaapo Kahkonen made 37 saves for the Sharks, who improved to 2-6-3 in San Jose this season.

Pietrangelo also had two assists for his fourth three-point game of the season. Mark Stone had a goal and an assist and Reilly Smith also scored for Vegas, which improved to 15-4-1, matching the best start after 20 games in franchise history. Logan Thompson stopped 25 of 29 shots to pick up his 10th win of the season.
