Andre Burakovsky scored at 1:10 of overtime as the Seattle Kraken defeated the visiting New Jersey Devils 4-3 on Thursday night to snap a two-game losing streak.

Ryan Donato had two goals and an assist and Brandon Tanev also scored for Seattle, which moved into a tie with the Vegas Golden Knights atop the Pacific Division. Kraken goaltender Martin Jones made 27 saves.

Damon Severson, Erik Haula and Nico Hischier scored and Mackenzie Blackwood stopped 36 of 40 shots for the Devils, who had a five-game winning streak snapped and lost for just the fourth time on the road this season.

Burakovsky’s winner came after Seattle defenseman Vince Dunn hurried to chase down a loose puck behind the New Jersey net. Dunn sent a pass to Matty Beniers, who spotted Burakovsky coming off the bench. Burakovsky slipped a wrist shot from the right faceoff circle between Blackwood’s pads.

Trailing 2-1 entering the third period, the Devils tied the score on Haula’s short-handed breakaway at 6:04. Haula he put a backhander over Jones’s catching glove.

Tanev put the Kraken back up at 7:51, taking a nifty backhanded pass from Donato from across the top of the crease and tapping the puck into an open net from near the left post.

With Blackwood pulled for an extra attacker, Hischier tied it at 18:46, lifting a rebound over Jones after he stopped Jack Hughes’ initial shot.

Donato opened the scoring at 12:27 of the first period, putting a wrist shot over Blackwood’s shoulder and into the near upper corner of the net.

Donato doubled the lead at 4:52 of the second with his 10th goal of the season. He skated over the blue line on a two-on-one rush with Jared McCann and beat Blackwood with another high wrister, this time from just outside the right dot.

The Devils finally beat Jones, the NHL’s reigning first star of the week, at 11:32 of the second. Jesper Bratt drove over the blue line, turned toward the top of the faceoff circles and dropped the puck for Severson, who used a defender as a screen and put a wrist shot into the upper left corner of the net.
