
The Philadelphia Flyers are bringing back defenseman Cam York and forward Noah Cates on two-year deals, the team announced Monday.
York’s deal is worth $3.2 million, while Cates’ is valued at $5.25 million.
The 14th overall pick in the 2019 draft, York, 22, recorded two goals and 18 assists in 54 games last season, his third with the Flyers. He was a restricted free agent prior to re-signing with Philadelphia.
Cates, 24, tallied 38 points (13 goals, 25 assists) in 82 games in 2022-23, his rookie season. He was just one of four NHL rookies to play all 82 games.
Cates was a fifth-round pick (137th overall) in the 2017 draft.
