Adam Henrique had a goal and an assist as the Anaheim Ducks beat visiting Arizona 3-1 on Friday night, sending the Coyotes to their 11th straight loss to open the season.

Sonny Milano and Sam Carrick also scored for the Ducks, who have registered points in five consecutive games (3-0-2). Anthony Stolarz made 28 saves but lost his shutout bid with eight seconds left in the game.

Anaheim’s Troy Terry had an assist and extended his point streak to 10 games (seven goals, six assists), tied for the longest in the NHL.

Shayne Gostisbehere scored and Karel Vejmelka stopped 28 shots for Arizona, which has scored one goal or been shut out in each of its past five games.

Arizona (0-10-1) is tied with four other teams, including the 2017-18 Coyotes, for the second longest losing streak to start the regular season. The record is 15, set by the 1943-44 New York Rangers.

Henrique gave the Ducks a 1-0 lead just 34 seconds into the first period. He got to a loose puck behind the Arizona net and tucked it in behind Vejmelka for his fifth goal of the season. Ryan Getzlaf picked up his 10th assist of the season on the play.

Milano made it 2-0 on a power play at 18:13 of the opening period. Kevin Shattenkirk fed Henrique to the left of Vejmelka, and the center slid the puck across the crease to Milano for the tap in. Shattenkirk has 12 points (three goals, nine assists) this season.

The Coyotes outshot the Ducks 15-8 in the opening period.

The Ducks’ lead increased to 3-0 when Carrick, charging the net, tipped in a centering pass from Derek Grant on the rush at 9:46 of the second period.

Arizona averted the shutout when Gostisbehere knocked in a loose puck in front of Stolarz at 19:52 of the third period.
