The Minnesota Vikings reached a contract agreement with cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. on Monday, capping a busy day for the team.

While the club confirmed coming to terms, it didn’t announce details of Murphy’s pact. The sides settled on a three-year, $66 million deal, according to multiple media reports.

Earlier Monday, former Indianapolis Colts center Ryan Kelly agreed to a two-year, $18 million contract with the Vikings, per multiple reports.

Also, cornerback Isaiah Rodgers reportedly left the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles to agree to a two-year, $15 million contract with Minnesota. Rodgers’ deal includes a guaranteed $8 million, according to multiple media outlets.

All of the deals can become official on Wednesday, the first day of the 2025 league year.

Murphy, 27, was the Vikings’ top cornerback last season, totaling 81 combined tackles, six tackles for loss and six interceptions (tied for the third in the NFL). In pass coverage, he was targeted 119 times but held opponents to a passer rating of 76.7.

Kelly, 31, was a four-time Pro Bowl selection with the Colts. He missed a total of 10 games over the past two seasons due to injuries, leading Indianapolis to turn the job over to 2024 fourth-round pick Tanor Bortolini.

Rodgers, 27, finished his lone season in Philadelphia with 26 tackles, four passes defended and a forced fumble in 15 games (three starts).

In four postseason games, he notched six tackles, three passes defended and a fumble recovery, which came in the NFC divisional-round win over the Los Angeles Rams.

A sixth-round pick of the Indianapolis Colts in the 2020 draft, Rodgers played three seasons with the Colts before sitting out the 2023 season for a violation of the NFL’s gambling policy.

In 60 games (13 starts) over four seasons, Rodgers has 116 tackles, three interceptions, 14 passes defended, two forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries.
