Cincinnati Bengals rookie wide receiver Jermaine Burton missed Saturday’s walk-through session, leading to him being listed as inactive for Sunday’s game against the visiting Las Vegas Raiders, multiple media outlets reported.

Earlier in the week, Burton expressed his displeasure with his playing time.

“I can’t put myself in the game,” he said. “Personally, I feel like I could have been (making) plays.”

Per The Athletic, the Bengals are planning to address the situation involving Burton after Sunday’s game.

His agent commented via text message, via Sports Illustrated.

‘Working through it,” Burton’s agent, Trevon Smith, said. “Still maturing and growing.”

Burton, 23, has recorded two catches for 88 yards in seven games since being selected by Cincinnati in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft out of Alabama.
