Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown is available to face the visiting Dallas Cowboys in a significant Thursday night matchup.

The Lions initially feared St. Brown would be sidelined for one or two games due to the ankle sprain he sustained during a Thanksgiving loss to the rival Green Bay Packers.

St. Brown did not practice this week but performed his usual pregame warmup routine before being cleared to play Thursday.

The fifth-year pro is Detroit’s leading receiver with 75 catches for 884 yards and nine touchdowns through 12 games. The three-time Pro Bowl selection lined up for four snaps against the Packers prior to his injury.

The Lions (7-5) and Cowboys (6-5-1) are jockeying for position in the NFC standings. Both teams are just outside of the playoff picture with five games left in the season.
