The Philadelphia Eagles opened the 21-day practice window for cornerback Avonte Maddox on Thursday.

Maddox has missed the team’s last 12 games due to a pectoral injury he sustained in Philadelphia’s 34-28 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Sept. 14.

He had eight tackles and a forced fumble in two games (one start) before being placed on injured reserve on Sept. 20.

Maddox, 27, is in his sixth season with the Eagles, who selected him in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He has recorded 246 tackles, eight forced fumbles and four interceptions in 62 games (37 starts).
