The Miami Dolphins placed veteran Germain Ifedi on season-ending injured reserve and signed fellow offensive lineman Yodny Cajuste on Thursday.

Ifedi, a former first-round pick of the Seattle Seahawks, signed with Miami on Aug. 3 as the Dolphins were dealing with multiple injuries up front.

Details of the injury were not disclosed for Ifedi, 31, who has started 90 of his 117 career games with the Seahawks (2016-19), Chicago Bears (2020-21), Atlanta Falcons (2022) and Cleveland Browns (2024).

Cajuste, 29, was drafted in the third round by New England in 2019. He participated in 17 games (five starts) for the Patriots from 2021-22 but has been unable to stay healthy since then.
