Miami Dolphins running backs Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed were activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday.

Gaskin and Ahmed are expected to be available for the Dolphins (6-7) in Sunday’s home game against the New York Jets (3-10). Fellow running back Phillip Lindsay remained on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Gaskin, 24, leads the team in carries (154) and rushing yards (526), while his three rushing touchdowns are tied for the club lead with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. He has totaled 1,243 rushing yards and seven touchdowns in 30 career games since being selected by the Dolphins with a seventh-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Ahmed, 22, ranks second on the team with 149 rushing yards. He also has 12 catches for 117 yards in 12 games.

Lindsay, 27, was signed off waivers from the Houston Texans on Nov. 24 and made his Miami debut against the Carolina Panthers four days later. He carried 12 times for 42 yards in a 33-10 win.
