Washington Commanders star wide receiver Terry McLaurin is now off the team injury report and set to play in the team’s season opener against the visiting Arizona Cardinals.

McLaurin was nursing a toe injury sustained during Washington’s 29-28 victory in a preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens on Aug. 21.

A Pro Bowl selection in 2022, McLaurin had 77 receptions for 1,191 yards and five touchdowns in 17 games last season.

McLaurin, 27, has totaled 299 catches for 4,281 yards with 21 touchdowns in 63 career games since being selected by Washington with a third-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Ohio State.

The Commanders also labeled Chase Young (stinger) and fellow defensive end James Smith-Williams (undisclosed) as questionable for the season opener.

Young, 24, tore his right ACL in November 2021. He missed the final eight games that season and sat out the first 14 games in 2022 while recovering from the injury.

The 2020 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year has posted 75 tackles, 17 quarterback hits, nine sacks and three fumble recoveries in 27 career games (26 starts).

Also on Friday, the Commanders placed wide receiver/punt returner Dax Milne on injured reserve and signed defensive end William Bradley-King to the roster.

Milne, 24, has been dealing with a groin injury. He did not participate in practice on either Wednesday or Thursday and will miss at least the first four games for the Commanders.

Milne has totaled 15 catches for 120 yards with one touchdown in 28 games since being selected by Washington in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of BYU. He also serves as the Commanders’ primary punt returner.

Bradley-King, 25, initially was released by Washington last month.

He has totaled seven tackles and a half-sack in four games since being selected by the Commanders in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
