Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Myles Murphy signed his four-year rookie contract on Friday.

All contracts involving first-round selections include a fifth-year team option.

Murphy, who was taken with the 28th overall pick, became the third first-round selection of the 2023 NFL Draft to sign a contract. Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter, the No. 9 pick, agreed to terms on May 4 and Seattle Seahawks wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the 20th overall selection, signed on Thursday.

Murphy, 21, collected 17.5 sacks and 37 tackles for loss, to go along with six forced fumbles, in three seasons with Clemson.

He earned first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors in 2022.

The Bengals have signed all eight of their picks from the 2023 NFL Draft.
