The Chicago Bears placed quarterback Andy Dalton and cornerback Duke Shelley on the COVID-19 list on Friday.

The additions give Chicago 13 players on the COVID list. The Bears are also without offensive coordinator Bill Lazor, defensive coordinator Sean Desai and special teams chief Chris Tabor due to protocols.

Dalton was unlikely to play in Monday night’s road game against the Minnesota Vikings due to a fractured left hand.

The other Bears on the COVID-19 list are receiver Allen Robinson II, running back Ryan Nall, tight end Jesse James, offensive tackle Larry Borom, defensive end Mario Edwards Jr., nose tackle Eddie Goldman, linebacker Joel Iyiegbuniwe, cornerback Artie Burns, safety Eddie Jackson and two practice squad players: receiver Isaiah Coulter and linebacker Sam Kamara.

The Bears (4-9) are one of seven NFL teams that are in enhanced protocols. All of Chicago’s meetings are held virtually.
