Dominick McKinley, a highly-rated defensive line prospect in the Class of 2024, announced Friday he will play his college football at Texas A&M.

McKinley is a five-star as judged by 247Sports and a high-ranking four-star according to ESPN and the 247Sports composite rankings. Per the composite, he is the No. 38 overall prospect in his class and the No. 1 player in Louisiana.

McKinley chose the Aggies over LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Texas.

“I love how Coach E (co-defensive coordinator and defensive line coach Elijah Robinson) is great at doing what he does,” McKinley told ESPN. “He acts like a family around his players.”

Listed at 6-foot-5 1/2 and 280 pounds, McKinley helped the Texas A&M recruiting class move to No. 5 overall according to 247Sports’ rankings.
