Kedrick Reescano ran for three touchdowns and Arizona posted a shutout in the second half to beat Baylor 41-17 in a Big 12 Conference game Saturday afternoon in Tucson, Ariz.

It was the fourth consecutive win for the Wildcats (8-3, 5-3 Big 12) and their sixth of the season at home, tying a school record. They outscored Baylor 27-0 after trailing by three at halftime.

Reescano scored on runs of 2, 1 and 19, the last putting Arizona up three scores. The Wildcats had four rushing TDs and 172 yards while Noah Fifita threw for 183 yards and a TD.

Baylor (5-6, 3-5) got 162 yards and a TD with two interceptions from Sawyer Robertson, who also had a rushing score.

Arizona took its first lead at 21-17 with 11:49 left in the third quarter on a 1-yard Reescano run.

Baylor went for it on fourth-and-3 from the Arizona 12-yard line early in the fourth quarter but Robertson was intercepted by Arizona’s Treydan Stukes in the end zone. The Wildcats missed a 38-yard field goal on the ensuing possession but then recovered a fumble by Baylor’s Bryson Washington on the ensuing play with Ismail Madhi scoring on a 28-yard run right after that for a 28-17 lead with 10:29 to go.

Reescano scored from 19 yards out with 6:38 left, then 11 seconds later Jabari Mann returned an interception 34 yards to extend Arizona’s scoring run to 27-0.

Touchdowns were scored on the first four possessions of the game, with Baylor scoring on a 7-yard catch by Josh Cameron and a 2-yard Robertson run while Arizona had a 2-yard Reescano run and a 2-yard Kris Hutson catch on fourth down.

The Bears got a 48-yard field goal from Connor Hawkins to end the first half.

Arizona wraps up the regular season Friday at in-state rival Arizona State while Baylor hosts Houston on Nov. 29 in its finale.
