NCAAB: Ole Miss lands 7-foot-5 WKU transfer Jamarion Sharp

Western Kentucky transfer Jamarion Sharp, a 7-foot-5 center, committed to Ole Miss on Thursday for his final season of eligibility.

Sharp also considered Arkansas, Florida, Florida State and Memphis before announcing his decision on social media.

He averaged 7.4 points, 7.7 rebounds and 4.1 blocked shots per game in 32 starts with the Colonels in 2022-23.

After playing two seasons in junior college, Sharp recorded 279 blocked shots in just 64 games at Western Kentucky.

Sharp was named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year in both 2021-22 and 2022-23.
