Keisei Tominaga had 18 points and two Nebraska players had double-doubles in a 67-56 win over Rutgers in a Big Ten Conference game Sunday evening in Lincoln, Neb.

The Cornhuskers (21-9, 11-8 Big Ten) finished 18-1 at Pinnacle Bank Arena, their most home wins in school history.

Tominaga, honored before the game as part of Senior Night festivities, shot 6-of-13 from the field. He went just 1-of-6 from 3-point range but it was a big one during a late stretch in the second half.

Juwan Gary had 15 points and 11 rebounds and Josiah Allick added 10 and 12 as Nebraska overcame poor shooting in the second half. The Cornhuskers did not make a field goal over the final 5:58 of play.

Rutgers (15-14, 7-11) shot just 32.8 percent overall and 4-of-25 from 3. Jeremiah Williams led the Scarlet Knights with 14 points before fouling out.

Nebraska led 37-25 at the half. The lead got down to nine before back-to-back 3-pointers from Allick and Rienk Mast.

Rutgers pulled within 54-48 with seven minutes left thanks to a 15-5 run powered by seven points from Gavin Griffiths, who finished the game with 10.

Tominaga scored the next seven points by drawing an and-one on a layup before converting a four-point play. He ended up scoring 12 consecutive points for Nebraska to help build back a 64-51 lead with 5:19 remaining.

The Scarlet Knights missed 14 of their last 17 shots.

Mast and Allick combined to score the first eight points of the game for Nebraska, while Rutgers made only three shots in the first 10 minutes to fall behind 19-7. The Scarlet Knights trailed by 17 when they embarked on a 10-3 run to get within 35-25 late in the first half.

Nebraska is off until next Sunday when it wraps up the regular season at Michigan, while Rutgers visits Wisconsin on Thursday before playing its home finale Sunday against Ohio State.
