Desmond Cambridge Jr. scored 18 points and Arizona State snapped a four-game skid with a 68-57 victory over Oregon State on Thursday night in Pac-12 play in Tempe, Ariz.

Devan Cambridge tallied 14 points and Frankie Collins added 13 as the Sun Devils (16-7, 7-5 Pac-12) completed a regular-season sweep of the Beavers.

Jordan Pope scored 14 points but was just 5-of-17 shooting for Oregon State (9-14, 3-9), which has dropped eight of its past 10 games. Tyler Bilodeau added 10 points as the Beavers dropped their 14th consecutive road game in the series.

Arizona State shot 46.8 percent from the field, including 7 of 18 from 3-point range.

The Beavers connected on 40.8 percent overall and made 8 of 24 shots from behind the arc.

Arizona State rattled off nine straight points early in the second half to take a 40-37 lead.

A basket by KC Ibekwe gave Oregon State a 44-42 edge with 13:26 left before the Sun Devils went on a 10-2 burst. Jamiya Neal buried a 3-pointer to conclude the spurt and give Arizona State a six-point lead with 9:36 remaining.

Dexter Akanno’s thunderous dunk over two Sun Devils pulled the Beavers within 55-51 with 7:21 to play.

The Sun Devils led 63-56 after Devan Cambridge’s layup with 4:30 left. Neither team scored for more than three minutes until Collins drove for a layup to make it a nine-point margin with 1:23 remaining, and Arizona State closed it out.

Pope scored 12 points on four 3-pointers as Oregon State led 35-31 at the break.

Arizona State led 16-10 after DJ Horne’s basket with 13:48 left in the half before the Beavers answered with an 8-2 run to knot the score with 10:09 left.

A basket by Devan Cambridge gave the Sun Devils a 29-25 lead with 2:14 left. Oregon State scored the next 10 points — including treys from Christian Wright and Pope — to build a six-point advantage before Desmond Cambridge made two free throws with 12 seconds left to cap the first-half scoring.
