Baylor maintained its unanimous No. 1 ranking and The Associated Press Top 25 poll released Monday contained very few changes.
The top seven teams remained the same and no schools departed or entered the rankings in the first poll of 2022.
Defending national champion Baylor (13-0) received all 61 first-place votes for the third time in four weeks.
No. 2 Duke (11-1) held its spot despite being idle since Dec. 22 due to COVID-19 issues.
The Blue Devils are followed by Purdue (12-1), Gonzaga (11-2), UCLA (8-1), Kansas (11-1) and unbeaten USC (12-0), the same order as last week.
No. 8 Arizona (11-1) last played on Dec. 22 but moved up a spot with Iowa State (12-1) dropping three places to No. 11 after a 77-72 loss to Baylor.
No. 9 Auburn (12-1) climbed two spots after a 70-55 win against then-No. 16 LSU (12-1), which fell to No. 21.
Michigan State (12-2) held steady at No. 10.
No. 16 Providence (13-1) rose five places in the week’s biggest climb, while No. 24 Seton Hall (9-3) fell nine places in the week’s biggest tumble. The Pirates lost to Providence and Villanova last week.
