NBA2K: Hornets Venom GT stays unbeaten at NBA 2K League’s Slam Open

Hornets Venom GT won their lone match on Friday, improving to 3-0 in NBA 2K League Slam Open group play.

After picking up two wins on Thursday, the Hornets defeated the Gen.G Tigers 3-2 to move into a second-place tie with NetsGC, who were idle on Friday.

Heat Check Gaming and Grizz Gaming both notched two wins on Friday. The Heat beat Wizards District Gaming 3-1 and 76ers GC 3-2, while the Grizz knocked off Mavs Gaming 3-1 and Bucks Gaming 3-2.

DUX Infinitos, the NBA 2K League’s reigning 3v3 champion, lost both their matches on Friday and are now 1-3.

In other matches, T-Wolves Gaming, the Wizards, Pistons GT, the 76ers, NBL Oz Gaming, Pacers Gaming and Celtics Crossover Gaming all split their two matchups.

Raptors Uprising GC and Blazer5 Gaming each won their only matchup, beating Cavs Legion Gaming and Kings Guard Gaming, respectively.

Knicks Gaming face NetsGC in the only matchup Saturday. Play continues through Monday. Bracket play for the event is scheduled for March 7-8 and March 13-16.

The NBA 2K League 3v3 season continues with the Switch Open (March 20-April 6) and the Steal Open (April 19-20). The playoffs are set for April 24-27 in Washington.
