The Golden State Warriors are signing forward Kevin Knox to deal for the remainder of the season, per ESPN.

Knox suited up in seven games for the Warriors this season after signing a pair of 10-day contracts. The 25-year-old is averaging 4.0 points and 1.6 rebounds across 7.3 minutes per game.

On February 25, he had his best game of the season against the Charlotte Hornets, posting 12 points (including two 3-pointers), five rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and one steal in only 15 minutes.

Knox was selected by the New York Knicks with the ninth overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. He played 75 games as a rookie, including 57 starts, averaging 12.8 points and 4.5 rebounds. However, he slowly saw his role evaporate over the following 2 1/2 seasons before being dealt to the Atlanta Hawks in January 2022.

He would go on to spend time with the Portland Trail Blazers and Detroit Pistons.

The 6-foot-7 forward is a career 34.0 percent three-point shooter.

Knox will look to help a Warriors team that has been thrust into title contention, following the Jimmy Butler-trade. Golden State has a 14-2 record over its last 16 games.
