Golden State Warriors guard Moses Moody is dealing with a calf issue and will undergo a MRI on Saturday, per ESPN.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr believes the injury is minor, but the team wants to be cautious.

Moody was selected by the Warriors with the 14th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Last season, he appeared in 74 games, making 34 starts. He averaged 9.8 points and 2.6 rebounds, while shooting 37.4% from three-point range.

Moody is expected to miss the team’s preseason game on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler, and Al Horford will also be inactive.
