Miami Heat guard Josh Richardson will be sidelined a few weeks after sustaining a dislocated right shoulder, The Athletic reported Monday.

Richardson left the Heat’s Sunday game in the second quarter after feeling his shoulder pop out following an attempt to strip Boston’s Jayson Tatum of the ball. Richardson said the shoulder popped back in.

He will be re-evaluated in a few weeks, per the report.

Terry Rozier was also injured in Miami’s 110-106 loss to the Celtics. The Athletic reported that an MRI on Monday revealed a sprained right knee, and Rozier is considered week-to-week.

Richardson, 30, scored two points in seven minutes before departing. He’s averaging 9.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 43 games (six starts) this season, his first back with the team since his first stint from 2015-19.

Richardson averages 11.6 points in 546 career games (322 starts) with six different teams. He was a second-round pick of the Heat in 2015.

Rozier, 29, has played 10 games for Miami this season after the Heat acquired him from the Hornets in a trade last month. He has averaged 20.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 6.4 assists across 40 games (39 starts) with Miami and Charlotte in 2023-24.

In 580 career games (337 starts) with the Celtics, Hornets and Heat, Rozier sports averages of 14.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists.
