Los Angeles Lakers rookie guard Austin Reaves will miss at least two weeks after being diagnosed with a strained left hamstring.

The Lakers said Reaves will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Reaves sat out Wednesday’s victory over the Miami Heat after he was injured during Monday’s 126-123 overtime win against the Charlotte Hornets.

Reaves, who went undrafted after spending time at Wichita State and Oklahoma, is averaging 6.1 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 10 games. He has impressed the Lakers with his defense and overall tenacity and played at least 20 minutes in seven of his past eight appearances.

Los Angeles is still without forward LeBron James (abdominal), who is expected to miss his fifth straight game when the Lakers host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.
