Boston Celtics standout guard Jaylen Brown will miss Tuesday night’s road game against the Los Angeles Lakers due to his right hamstring injury.

It marks the third straight game Brown has missed due to the injury.

Boston initially listed Brown as questionable before downgrading him on Tuesday. Celtics coach Ime Udoka told reporters at the midday shootaround that Brown had a good workout but wasn’t back to 100 percent.

The 25-year-old Brown is averaging 21.4 points and 5.2 rebounds in 13 games this season.

Brown’s next chance to play is Wednesday night when Boston visits the Los Angeles Clippers.
