Brazilian striker Brenner has returned to FC Cincinnati on loan from Italian Serie A side Udinese.

The move, announced Friday, was completed before the close of the secondary transfer window on Thursday.

Brenner, 25, is on loan with FC Cincinnati through the end of the 2025 season. The deal includes a purchase option.

“We’re happy to welcome Brenner back to Cincinnati,” general manager Chris Albright said. “As he has proved here before, he’s a dynamic player with the ability to be an elite goal scorer. His familiarity with the club and our league should help him to adapt quickly and we are excited to add him to our group.”

Brenner tallied 27 goals and seven assists in 73 appearances across all competitions with Cincinnati from 2021-23.

He joined Udinese for a reported $11 million fee and has recorded two goals and two assists in 19 matches.

FC Cincinnati (16-7-4, 52 points) enters the weekend tied atop the Supporters’ Shield race with San Diego FC.
