MLB: Yankees re-sign LHP Ryan Yarbrough to 1-year deal

The New York Yankees re-signed versatile left-hander Ryan Yarbrough to a one-year contract on Friday.

Financial terms were not disclosed but multiple reports said the deal for the 33-year-old free agent is worth $2.5 million.

Yarbrough was 3-1 with one save and a 4.36 ERA in 19 appearances (eight starts). He allowed two runs or fewer in seven of his eight starts and limited left-handed hitters to a .198 batting average.

He is 56-41 with four saves and a 4.22 ERA in 215 career games (76 starts) with the Tampa Bay Rays (2018-22), Kansas City Royals (2023), Los Angeles Dodgers (2023-24), Toronto Blue Jays (2024) and Yankees.
