Minnesota Twins center fielder Byron Buxton was reinstated from the 7-day concussion injured list ahead of Friday’s series opener against the host Seattle Mariners.

Buxton, 31, collided with shortstop Carlos Correa in shallow center field during a 4-0 win over the host Baltimore Orioles on May 15.

Buxton, who missed 11 games after the collision, is batting .261 with a team-high 10 home runs and 27 RBIs in 41 games.

In a corresponding roster move, the Twins optioned outfielder Carson McCusker to Triple-A St. Paul.

McCusker, 27, made his MLB debut on May 18 and went 1-for-6 over five games.
