Right-hander Dennis Santana will join his third team of the spring after he was claimed off waivers by the New York Mets.

Santana, who has 134 games of major league experience, started the spring with the Atlanta Braves before he was claimed off waivers by the Minnesota Twins. The 26-year-old was put through waivers again before he was claimed by the Mets.

Santana was 3-8 with a 5.22 ERA in 63 appearances (one start) for the Texas Rangers last season. Over five major league seasons with the Rangers and Los Angeles Dodgers, he is 7-14 with a 5.12 ERA.
