Dominic Fletcher, the Arizona Diamondbacks’ No. 9 hitter, had three hits and four RBIs in a 7-5 win Friday night over the San Francisco Giants at Phoenix.

The Diamondbacks’ three-game losing streak was snapped.

Fletcher’s RBI double off reliever Jakob Junis (2-2) in the sixth inning broke a 4-4 tie. A passed ball by Blake Sabol allowed another run to score.
Lourdes Gurriel Jr.’s RBI double with two outs in the seventh increased Arizona’s lead to 7-4.

San Francisco answered in the eighth with an RBI double by Casey Schmitt.

Arizona closer Miguel Castro entered with one out in the ninth. He struck out Thairo Estrada but J.D. Davis followed with a double.

Castro earned his second save when Joey Bart popped out to second base.

Diamondbacks bench coach Jeff Banister served as the acting manager with Torey Lovullo attending his son Connor’s graduation from Northern Arizona University at Flagstaff, Ariz.

Banister flirted with getting ejected in the bottom of the sixth arguing an ejection of Christian Walker by home plate umpire Alfonso Marquez.

Walker was clapping in the dugout after an appeal to first-base umpire Ramon DeJesus, who ruled that Nick Ahmed did not commit on a bunt attempt.

Home runs accounted for the game’s first seven runs.

San Francisco took a 3-0 lead against Arizona starter Ryne Nelson behind Joc Pederson’s two-run home run in the first and Michael Conforto’s solo shot in the second.

The Diamondbacks tied the game in the bottom of the second on Fletcher’s three-run home run off San Francisco starter Ross Stripling.

Evan Longoria, formerly of the Giants, belted a home run with two outs in the third to put Arizona ahead 4-3.

The game was tied again on J.D. Davis’ single with two outs in the fifth off Nelson that scored LaMonte Wade Jr., who earlier doubled.

Anthony Misiewicz (1-0) got the win in relief of Nelson, pitching a hitless 1 1/3 innings.
