DaShawn Keirsey Jr. lined a game-winning single down the left-field line to lift the Minnesota Twins to a 7-6 win over the San Francisco Giants in 10 innings on Sunday afternoon in Minneapolis.

Teammates mobbed Keirsey Jr. after the hit, which gave Minnesota its eighth win in a row. Brooks Lee finished 3-for-5 with a homer and two RBIs.

Heliot Ramos went 2-for-2 with a homer and four RBIs to lead San Francisco, which was swept in the three-game series. Jung Hoo Lee and David Villar drove in one run apiece.

Twins right-hander Jhoan Duran (1-0) got the win after allowing one unearned run in the top of the 10th.

Giants right-hander Ryan Walker (1-2) gave up two runs (one earned) in two-thirds of an inning.

Keirsey Jr. capped a comeback bottom of the 10th for the Twins. Ryan Jeffers evened the score at 6 with an RBI groundout, and Keirsey Jr. delivered three batters later with the winning hit that scored Brooks Lee from third.

Villar gave the Giants a 6-5 lead in the top of the 10th with an RBI groundout.

The Giants opened the scoring in the top of the first. Mike Yastrzemski hit a leadoff single, advanced to third on a single by Jung Hoo Lee and scored on a sacrifice fly by Ramos.

Ramos struck again in the top of the fourth when he ripped a two-run homer to right-center field to put the Giants on top 3-0. It marked the seventh homer of the season and the second in as many games for Ramos.

The Twins cut the deficit to 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth. After Trevor Larnach reached on an infield single, Brooks Lee belted a two-run homer to right-center field.

Jung Hoo Lee increased the Giants’ lead to 4-2 in the fifth. He hit a sacrifice fly to drive in Yastrzemski, who singled, stole second and advanced to third on a balk.

Byron Buxton hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth to bring the Twins within 4-3.

One inning later, Minnesota scored twice to go ahead 5-4. Royce Lewis hit an RBI single to center, and Harrison Bader grounded into an RBI fielder’s choice to third.

Ramos added an RBI single in the top of the eighth to tie the score at 5 and eventually force extra innings.
