The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated right-hander Luke Weaver from the 60-day injured list on Sunday.

He hasn’t pitched for Arizona since Opening Day on April 7 when he allowed one run on three hits in 2/3 of an inning against the San Diego Padres. He went on the injured list with right elbow inflammation.

Weaver, 28, made two rehab appearances (one start) at Triple-A Reno and allowed two runs on six hits over six innings.

He owns a career record of 23-35 with a 4.66 ERA in 90 games (80 starts) with the St. Louis Cardinals (2016-18) and Diamondbacks.

Arizona also optioned right-hander Edwin Uceta to Reno after Saturday night’s 4-0 loss in Philadelphia and designated infielder Drew Ellis for assignment.

Uceta, 24, has no decisions and a 5.00 ERA in four relief appearances (nine innings) with the Diamondbacks this season.

Ellis, 26, was 2-for-13 (.154) with a double and an RBI in six games for Arizona.
