MLB: Blue Jays OF Anthony Santander (back) scratched from Game 2 lineup

Toronto Blue Jays left fielder Anthony Santander was scratched from the lineup in Game 2 of the American League Division Series against the Seattle Mariners on Monday with back tightness.

Davis Schneider was set to replace Santander in left field and bat eighth as the Blue Jays look to rebound after a 3-1 loss in Game 1 on Sunday. Santander had was seventh in the order on the original lineup. When Santander was scratched, second baseman Ernie Clement moved up a spot from the No. 8 hole.

Santander, 30, batted .175 with six home runs and 18 RBIs in 54 games while he was limited by a left shoulder injury during the regular season. In four games this postseason, he is 3-for-13 (.231) with two RBIs.

Schneider, 26, batted .234 with 11 home runs and 31 RBIs in 82 regular-season games, and is 2-for-7 (.286) with two walks in three postseason games.
