Kendrick Lamar will headline the halftime show of Super Bowl LIX, but two days prior to the big game in New Orleans, the Madden Bowl will get some musical festivities of its own.

Country singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton, rapper and singer Jelly Roll and country/hip-hop artist Shaboozey are set to perform at the Madden Bowl, which features a $1 million championship game of “Madden NFL 25,” the EA Sports football title.

“New Orleans is one of the greatest and most passionate sports cities in the world, and with a lineup including Chris Stapleton, Jelly Roll, Shaboozey and more, this is going to be an absolutely electric night,” EA Sports VP for marketing, partnerships and communications John Reseburg said in a statement.

Shaboozey, best known for his hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” expressed his excitement in EA Sports’ press release.

“2024 was an unforgettable year for me with a lot of highs, including performing at an NFL halftime show on Thanksgiving. Now I can’t wait to keep the party going with EA SPORTS and football fans from all over at Madden Bowl,” Shaboozey said in a statement.

The Madden Bowl will take place at the Orpheum Theater in New Orleans. The game itself will crown the Madden NFL Championship Series (MCS) champion.
