Three-time League of Legends world champion Sang-hyeok “Faker” Lee has re-signed with T1.

“I’m back,” the 25-year-old South Korean mid laner declared Friday.

The announcement ends speculation that Faker might sign elsewhere in free agency, ending a relationship with T1 that began in 2013.

He has helped the team win three League of Legends World Championship titles (2013, 2015 and 2016), two Mid-Season Invitationals (2016 and 2017) and nine League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) championships.

Faker and T1 reached the semifinals of Worlds 2021 before losing to DWG KIA.

“Honored that Faker has chosen to re-sign with T1,” T1 CEO Joe Marsh posted on Twitter. “These past few days have been a lot of sleepless nights and long conversations with Faker and his team. Excited to continue on this journey together.”
