T1 parted ways with Chang-dong “Canna” Kim on Thursday following a contract dispute.

The 21-year-old South Korean top laner had been with the League of Legends team since 2019.

“Canna will continue his pro-gamer career on a different team,” T1 tweeted. “We truly appreciate his contribution to the team and wish him the best of luck in the future.”

Canna wasn’t on the job market for long, joining the South Korean team Nongshim RedForce later the same day.

“Though it was a bumpy road, we thank him for happily deciding to join us for 2022,” his new team posted on social media.
