LNG Esports parted ways with mid laner Xie “icon” Tian-Yu on Sunday.
The 25-year-old Chinese player had been with the League of Legends Pro League (LPL) team since December 2020.
He helped LNG qualify for the LoL World Championship for the first time in 2021.
“Thank you for your 347 amazing days, 124 matches, 28 champions, 365 kills, 697 assists and everything in #LNG,” the team posted on Twitter. “We wish you the best and keep carrying our #Qilin power on your future path.”
