LOL: FlyQuest, Shopify unbeaten in LTA North Split 3

Shopify Rebellion and FlyQuest registered wins as Week 3 got underway on Saturday in the Split 3 in the League of Legends Championship of The Americas North in Los Angeles.

FlyQuest swept LYON 2-0, and Shopify Rebellion rallied past 100 Thieves as each improved to 3-0 and sit atop the standings.

The LTA North 2025 Split 3 is the third Americas North League of Legends split under the LTA banner, with eight Americas North teams competing for the Americas title.

The first three weeks are single-match formats, with all matches best-of-three. The Week 1 matchups were based on the final standings from Split 2, while the teams with the lesser record get to pick their opponents in Weeks 2 and 3.

There are elimination matches in Weeks 4-5, with the matches each best-of-five. Weeks 6-7 are a double-elimination format and also best-of-five. The top three teams qualify for the LTA Championship, and the winner qualifies for the 2025 World Championship.

On Saturday, 100 Thieves took a lead by winning the opener in 31 minutes on red, before Shopify Rebellion came back with wins in 37 minutes on red and 29 minutes on blue.

South Korea’s Ju “Bvoy” Yeong-hoon of Shopify Rebellion finished with a 13/4/22 kill-death assist ratio.

FlyQuest downed LYON in 29 minutes on blue and 45 minutes on red. Canada’s Fahad “Massu” Abdulmalek wound up with an 11/5/18 W-D-A ratio for FlyQuest.

Week 3 action continues on Sunday with Cloud9 facing Team Liquid, and Disguised battling Dignitas.
