FlyQuest continued to buzzsaw through their competition at the League of Legends Championship of The Americas North Split 3 in Los Angeles on Sunday, sweeping Team Liquid and advancing to the tournament’s upper bracket final.

FlyQuest will next face Shopify Rebellion on Aug. 31, with the winner booking a spot in the grand final of the tournament. Liquid drops to the lower bracket quarterfinals and must now go 3-0 to advance to the grand final on Sept. 7.

The LTA North 2025 Split 3 is the third Americas North League of Legends split under the LTA banner, with eight Americas North teams competing for the Americas title.

The first three weeks were single-match formats, with all matches best-of-three. This week and next are the elimination matches, with each contest in a best-of-five format.

Weeks 6-7 are also best-of-five, with the four lower bracket teams eliminated with a loss. Two teams will qualify for the upper bracket final with the loser falling to the lower bracket. The top three teams qualify for the LTA Championship, and the winner qualifies for the 2025 World Championship.

FlyQuest opened Sunday with a 30-minute win on blue, then won in 41 minutes on red. They completed the sweep with a 31-minute win on red.

Iraqi-Canadian Fahad “Massu” Abdulmalek paced FlyQuest with a 20-6-17 kill-death-assist ratio over the three maps. American Alan “Busio” Cwalina had only three kills but led all players with 42 assists in the win.

Eain “APA” Stearns of the United States had a 17-11-15 KDA for Liquid.

Next weekend, Disguised will face Dignitas and LYON plays 100 Thieves in the lower bracket first round.
