Excel Esports announced the signing Thursday of top laner Finn “Finn” Wiestal to complete their League of Legends European Championship roster.
The 22-year-old Swede most recently competed with Counter Logic Gaming following stints with Rogue, Movistar Riders and Ninjas in Pyjamas.

The signing is pending Riot Games approval.
The 2022 LEC Spring Split begins in January.
Finn joins an XL lineup that includes jungler Mark “Markoon” van Woensel and support Henk “Advienne” Reijenga of the Netherlands, mid laner Erlend “nukeduck” Vatevik Holm of Norway and bot laner Patrik “Patrik” Jiru of the Czech Republic.
