Virtus.pro announced the signing of Jonas “SabeRLight” Volek to its Dota 2 roster.

SabeRLight, 25, joined Team Liquid in September 2024 but was moved to the bench after this year’s The International. While with the organization, SaberLight helped Team Liquid win PGL Wallachia Season 3 and 4 along with a third-place finish in Season 6.

SabeRLight spent the past two months on loan with AVULUS. Before Team Liquid, he had stints with several organizations including Shopify Rebellion, TSM, Team Undying, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Chicken Fighters.

He now joins a Virtus.pro team looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2025 that included failing to qualify for The International following a 16th-place showing at the Esports World Cup.

“(SabeRLight) is an experienced player with a solid reputation on the international stage,” the team said in a statement. “Throughout his career, he has competed for TSM, Shopify Rebellion, and Team Liquid.

“During his time with Liquid, Jonas had a strong 2025 season, contributing to the team’s victories at three major tournaments.”

Virtus.pro’s roster now includes SabeRLight and fellow newcomers Enzo “Timado” Gianoli, Abed “Abed” Yusop and Tal “Fly” Aizik alng with returning player Vladislav “Antares” Kertman.

The overhauled roster is scheduled to make its debut at DreamLeague Season 27 beginning Dec. 10.
