TNC Predator revealed a “newly reborn” roster Wednesday, as the Philippines-based organization formed a group of up-and-coming players after releasing a veteran roster in September.
In a social media post, TNC revealed their new roster as: Levi “YoungGod” Lagaret, Yuri Dave “Yowe” Pacana and Prieme Ejay “PlayHard” Banquil of the Philippines, Lee “X1aOyU” Qian Yu of Malaysia, and Yong-min “Febby” Kim of South Korea.

“For the past years, our team always had high-profile players but this time, we want to move in a different direction by picking up rising talents from the region and team them up with a veteran leader in the form of our new captain, Febby,” TNC said in a Twitter post. “Looking back, this is a formula that worked for us during 2016 and 2017. We hope that the same formula can bring positive results to our team.”
After failing to qualify for The International 10 in July, the team announced it was putting Dota 2 competitions on hold.
Later in July, TNC Predator released all five members: Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte, Armel Paul “Armel” Tabios, Jun “Bok” Kanehara, Timothy “Tims” Randrup and Marvin “Boomy” Rushton.
“The road may be tough for us this season but we believe that with the right mindset, attitude, and discipline, our team will be able to go toe-to-toe with the best teams in the region and eventually in the global stage,” the team said in its Twitter post.
