DOTA: PARIVISION, BetBoom become clear 1-2 at DreamLeague 26

While PARIVISION remained unbeaten for a fourth straight day, BetBoom Team took sole possession of second place in Group Stage 2 at DreamLeague Season 26 on Monday.

PARIVISION swept winless Team Liquid 2-0 and BetBoom blanked Nigma Galaxy by the same score. Yakult Brothers also won a 2-0 shutout over Gaimin Gladiators, while Aurora Gaming pulled out a 2-1 win over Talon Esports.

The $1 million Dota 2 tournament began with 16 teams divided into two groups of eight in Group Stage 1. The top four teams from each group advanced out of the opening phase.

Group Stage 2 consists of a single round-robin of best-of-three matches. Four teams then will compete in a double-elimination playoff bracket, featuring best-of-three matches until the best-of-five grand final on June 1.

The first-place team will pocket $250,000 plus a $40,000 club reward. There also will be 29,200 ESL Pro Tour points distributed among the teams participating.

On Monday, PARIVISION beat Team Liquid with a pair of 42-minute wins, both on red. BetBoom, whose only loss came to PARIVISION, defeated Nigma Galaxy in 36 minutes and 48 minutes on green.

Yakult Brothers topped Gaimin Gladiators in 32 minutes on red and 33 minutes on green. Aurora, meanwhile, secured a marathon 81-minute victory on green and fell to Talon in 53 minutes on red before their 31-minute win on green decided the match.
