DOTA: Esports World Cup: Team Spirit, BetBoom Team top groups

Team Spirit and BetBoom Team finished atop their respective groups with wins Thursday at the Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Team Spirit swept Natus Vincere to complete the round-robin action in Group A, winning in 26 minutes on red and in 32 minutes on green. NAVI finished with the second-best record in the group, which also saw Xtreme Gaming and Talon Esports split their match on Thursday.

BetBoom Team finished strong in Group B, taking down Execration in 48 minutes and 34 minutes, both on red. Gaimin Gladiators split their match with Team Falcons to secure the second-best record in the group.

On Friday, Groups C and D will complete group stage action to set the stage for the elimination phase on Saturday and Sunday.

The Esports World Cup 2025 is the final championship of the third season of the ESL Pro Tour. The prize pool is $3 million, which features a $1 million prize and 1,000 club points for the team that’s crowned as the champion on July 19.
